Hiatus
Apologies for the on-off nature of this blog recently. Work on the book has left me with little time for anything else, so I can only plead overload.It's likely this will continue for a while and this, plus a planned holiday soon, means there may not be much going on here for a month or so. I thought I should warn you so you can make other plans.
I will be back though - and in the meantime there is still liveliness in evidence over at the Real England blog.

I totally understand. Writing a book can really take over sometimes. It is good to see that you are taking a break, Dave and I ended up taking a three day break on a walking holiday. It now seems daft that we walked 20 miles a day for a rest. - Not sure why I really think you need to know this, but there you have it.
Well best of luck with the book and hope you enjoy your holiday.
