Back in time
2009 sees fifteen years since the Solsbury Hill road protest saw the trees around Bath festooned with nets and tree houses, and its soils wormed with tunnels full of stubborn protesters refusing to come out until the government promised not to build a bypass through the hillfort above. Those were the days: the first stirrings of environmental direct action in this country, when I was still young enough to take part unironically. Those who were there too, or those who weren't but would have liked to have been, or those too young to remember - including those whippersnappers currently clogging up the airports with their climate change protests - should buy this new book by photographer Adrian Arbib, which documents everything that happened at Solsbury. It's brilliant, as is the accompanying website, a historical document in itself.

Hi Paul, well you should know having a planned coal fired power station named after you m8! You could protest now without being ironic, i.e. rediscover the magic/paganism that NVDA in this context brings. I.e real warriorship. Of course it does depend to some extent on the 'site' - where everyone else is at...some are 'sound'...like convoy anarchist meet the community vibes...very powerful, other less so, like the donga vampire clique of female egoisers. The problem with the 'west' is a dissociation/scism from not just Mother Earth, but magic, the occult in general, and this mechanism by which this is achieved is ritual abuse, in particular ritual child abuse. 'oh no thats not true, panic panic' say the Dongas. yes its a very very bad trip especially on physcotropic drugs, but true non the less.
re Helvellyn. Believe me young man, having spent several years in north wales off and on, the blasted waste that is the British Isles' mountains, cleared of native trees, other native species inlcuding indigenous people is very very depressing. Compare it to the alps, India, anywhere else in fact. Pathetic in fact, and the only way through this depression is to work positivly to reforest and repeople. These places ARE NOT a playground for british holiday makers, or shouldn't be, likewise they should be much more than sheep ranches. Personally I feel a few windmills are thus of no moment...and in fact are a positive sign of hope when very despressed. Severn barrage shouldn't be built however, its way too much.
All the best m8.

What these young people need to do is to travel to visit real tribal people and find out what its all really about..but oh I forgot, that means taking a plane flight! oh dear never mind. Well you can get trains to Morocco, another reality, trust me, despite westernisation due to difference in religion/ritual (key point). Very important for people to see the 'west' from outside the goldfish bowl, from the perspective of the 'east', real peace convoy, or whatever...because devient consciousness in the 'west' as a result of society wide ritual abuse programming that is essentially the crux of the problem as regards earth rape/climate change armageddeon.
..so actually what we need is anarchist consciousness..for people to wake up regarding the reality of western society/the state, a 'breaking' of the vampire abuse power of the western order that really is the 'western' consciousness, and transcendance and realisation to non material consciousness, real time magic, and reality. Guess whos been to India!!! By plane haha. Seriously, consciousness realisation is the crux, especially community wide consciousness shift - and not workshops, direct action camps per say, although they can be a very powerful mechanism to beat up and trash 'babylon vampire beast'..or the british state in the welsh context (potentially anyway)...something actually much much more powerful than mixing contrete for lock ons and like per say. By the way 'they', the government people are aware of this 'game' on at least some levels...of a boundary between their paradigm, the current western order, and alternative auspcious non ritual abuse based collective realities...and they will do all they casn to sab this process of collective anarchy or tribal sovereignty or whatever. But they fail ultimately obviously.
CYMRU TRIBAL SOVEREIGNTY!

'Backing nuclear power and Heathrow expansion is a disgrace. Wreaking havoc on the environment in the name of jobs is without vision and a falsehood.
An immediate public works programme building schools, hospitals, council houses and raliways would create 100,000 jobs. Renewable energies such as wind, sea and solar can provide a million new jobs', argues Jerry Hicks
